We’re all scatterbrains. The central question is how we regain our intent.
The easiest route is to turn off the Internet. But if we do that, our world goes dark and we become too remote for anyone to care about us.
The other way is to accept the fact that our brains are perpetually wired. We shall treat the Internet as we do food and water; indispensable to life, especially in the modern world.
Right now you have a choice: you can either consume or create the Internet. The former is easier, instantly gratifying; the latter is arduous but permanent. You can also curate the Internet and share your discoveries. Information DJs are generally happy.
This is your one time. Carpe diem.
