Baseball is visceral, tragic, and absurd, with only fleeting moments of happiness; it may be the best representation of life. I was, and still am, in love with baseball. But I quit.

Stop. Go. Offense. Defense. Innings. Baseball is a slow game full of a few exciting but brief moments. You may be doing a lot of thinking in between pitches and innings. And you just can’t make it go any faster.
