Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is a good time to reflect on the year and what’s left of it. It’s a time to postpone dissatisfaction and be grateful for all that we have. It’s a time to once again see the bigger picture and and celebrate life with our loved ones.

Weekends don’t seem to offer the same respite as Thanksgiving. How can we have more moments of perspective, where time slows down and ambition lulls?

Life needs just as much emphasis as work. The daily grind shrouds the small but significant advantages such as love and a glass of cold milk. The body needs rest and the brain needs a reset. Enjoy today and let it carry over until tomorrow.
