Buyer’s Dilemma

Says the seller to a prospective customer:

  • “Possibly. Probably. I assume so.”
  • “Absolutely. Certainly. 100% yes.”
  • “Maybe.”

The customer decides whether the salesperson or marketer is selling broken promises or validating the product.

Utility is the truest test of words. The product is really the only thing we can trust. It speaks for itself.
