If you don’t evolve, you wither. If you don’t wither, you wane. To avoid disruption is to invite combustion.

Newness doesn’t always to be a revolutionary. Not everything can be the railroad, the Internet, or the iPhone. Nor does a new product have to be completely “new.” The Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker has remained unchanged for 98 years.

But when it comes to technology, the point is to innovate on trends, not to play off them.
