Surely, you must have photographic proof, no matter how quick a moment Snapchat is. It is no wonder Snapchat is developing glasses to make that “tiny protest against time” even shorter.
However, I am sensing a millennial movement toward mindful seeing, one that's ok in skipping even the most temporary photograph.
After all, the stories that live on are the ones we store permanently in those little hard drives in our heads. With zero evidence, we are free to embellish the story as much as we want.
