Do what works

If wearing a Fitbit gets you to take 10,000 steps a day, wear it. If religion works for you, keep praying.

It doesn’t matter what tools you use to practice a habit. All that matters is that it works and your actions don’t threaten the lives of other people or yourself.

Habits are only arbitrary if they don’t work, and are worse or if they actually feel like real work. A successful system is what drives your beliefs.
