A for Effort?

They say that second place is more aggravating than third. The same feeling goes for missing the bus by a hair. It probably would’ve been better had you not seen the bus in the first place and avoided that costly step in the mud altogether.

Seeing is believing. Whether the idea exists in your head or in reality, you can imagine the execution. But trying is a really an uncertain game. Making an effort never guarantees success.

The only thing you can control in failing is your reaction. You either mull over regrets or accept the facts and do better the next time, or both.

Of course, sometimes you just get plain screwed. Those moments are the worst of all because there’s nothing you can do about it.
