Entrepreneurship was always the missing piece to my education.
Two years ago, my alma mater The George Washington University built the Office of Entrepreneurship.
Colleges are finally trying to keep both ideas and execution on campus by building their own incubators.
Campus is an ideal environment for finding like-minded students that just want to make stuff. Looking back I had a lot of extra time in college outside studying. I wish I had used that time more wisely to create an app or website with fellow students.
Incubators make college more relevant. Future applicants may only attend schools that host them.
Hands on entrepreneurship puts traditional education in perspective. We should study but we should also be preparing for a bright future.
