Creativity as productivity

Creativity starts but doesn’t end at “Think outside the box.”  

Real creativity happens in production, in getting your hands dirty, crafting crappy first drafts, and having someone criticize your work.  

Creativity is perpetual work, a labor of love, mixed in with trial and error, mind and body in motion.   

If you’re thinking creatively or weird and not actually creating, you’re not really contributing or putting “a dent in the universe.”  

Think something?  Do something.  Here are some tips to help you keep your foot on the gas.
