Filling the mental well

gif of a hand punching a brain

We’re not born with information running through our fingertips. But we develop brains that know how to interpret images, words, and YouTube videos.

Yet, our comprehension doesn’t stop there. We have to train ourselves to see.

In the ear of the listener and in the eye of the viewer is a mental well predetermined by experience. Any lack of information requires an open mind willing to suspend ignorance for collecting artifacts.

There’s nothing wrong with persistent doubt. It’s the engine that keeps us honest. We just have to be surer in our search for information than others who stop halfway, seek to poison the well with misinformation, or never try to fill the void in the first place.
