The flu shot vaccine changes every year. The goal: prevent and preempt you from getting the flu.
But the flu shot makes you sick at first. Many people avoid getting the injection for this very reason.
Similarily, a new operating system or mobile phone comes out every year. Some people upgrade and work through some of the new advancements; others wait and keep the old version and leave behind all the latest features.
A flu shot, like technology, is forever changing. The benefit is that while it may make you sick in the beginning you’re better in the long run. The benefit to skipping out on the flu shot is that while you may get terribly sick from the flu you save money if you don’t get the shot, not much of course.
So which person are you, the annual flu shot taker (tech upgrader) or do you prefer to take your chances?
