The banker sits next to a custodian, who sits across from an architect, who shares a seat with a veterinarian or a construction worker. Everyone comes from different races and backgrounds. On Fridays after work they might all engage in a random chat and share a few laughs.
The train makes us all equal, at least for the ride, just before we step back out onto the world’s stage.
