Nothing New

Uber feels like modern day hitchhiking, much safer of course.

Instagram is a modern day Kodak.

Tumblr is modern day MTV.

SnapChat and YouTube are modern day TV.

Twitter is a modern day news ticker.

Pinterest is a modern day cookbook and catalog.

WeChat, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger are the new text messages. Text messages are modern day emails.

What’s old recasts itself as new, built on top of the original framework.

Everything now is social but it’s all more adaptive than innovative.
