Stop Bragging About Your Email Inbox

Who cares about how many emails you get.

People confuse busyness with the number of emails they receive, as if the fullness of their inbox is an arbiter of their self-importance.

But most emails are either slight updates or non-actionable junk.

Instead, judge yourself on the number of painstaking hours you spent away from your email doing the stuff that matters.

Note: Substitute email with social media messages or Slack and the same rules apply.
