Digging out…

is theoretically more painful than ‘digging in.’ Digging in assumes you’re on the offensive and have control. Digging out assumes that you’re on the losing end.

But both actually mean the same thing. There’s work to be done both when the ground is fertile and when you’re already stuck in a hole.

All digging requires work. All work requires digging, in and out. For every action, there’s a reaction.
