figcaption class=”source”>Of all the Internet companies, Google does the best job in gathering our data and making it relevant for consumption, even if the content we see are advertisements.If we want to use the ecosystem of Google products: Gmail, docs, maps, search and have those tools remain free we have to give up our information. It sounds really scary, and it is a huge risk, but the flip side is a mess of mediocre software and intruding non relevant ads.

At least Google admits to organizing our data. Others like Facebook and Instagram just want to own it and misuse it.
