Too Smart For Their Own Good

Smart people are unhappy because they overthink and over-analyze everything.

Smart people are unhappy because they toggle between sides, rising above sidedness altogether. Managing paradoxes is stressful and time-consuming.

Smart people are unhappy because they seek meaning everywhere. They think Thom Yorke writes lyrics just for them.

Smart people are unhappy because they care too much. They demand perfection rather than accepting some things as they are.

Smart people struggle with indecision – perhaps this is central to their unhappiness. But the frustration of a smart person can be a good thing.
