Train Tracks

Sometimes the only way forward is backward.

Watching the tracks pass from behind puts the future in perspective. Riding forward foments anxiety, forcing the mind to create moments that don’t exist.

You can’t see what’s up ahead when you’re riding backward, let alone control it. The past and the future collide in the present moment.

What will be, will be.
