Turning Pro

When someone successful recommends an app, a device, workout activity, or productive hack we replicate it hoping for the same success. Copying is the first form of learning.

But owning the same tools or following the same method often fails. Most of the time it fails because we become discouraged and give up on our commitment. Sometimes we just get bored.

The only thing widgets and advice guarantee are the start. The pen and and paper enable you to write. The computer enables you to code. Waking up early may motivate you to focus. But Einstein often wrote lying down in bed.

It’s not necessarily how and when you work but the habit of showing up to work that’s irreplaceable.
