Life & Philosophy

There comes a time when you see the same stuff again and again that it almost becomes predictable. Yet the weather is one of those variables we can’t control.

One day it’s 40 degrees and we think we’ve made it through winter. Then it snows the next week. You’d think we’d get used to nature’s fickleness but we never do.

The dog days of winter are real. The snow and ice drags on. The ocean waves break into slurpees. The good news is that the weather doesn’t stay like this forever. Change comes. And when it does we forget about the nasty commutes and chapped hands and leave the puffy jacket at home.

We can’t control the weather but we can expect better days ahead whether we’re right or wrong.
