We always want what we don’t have.

We want to be famous rather than anonymous, sporty rather than nerdy, funny rather than quiet, single rather than partnered, ignorant rather than smart, and all vice versa.

Whatever we have now, we always wonder what it’s like on the other side. But we can’t have it both ways.

Life requires commitment. Once we own something, we should make the best of it even if the mind is going the other way. Deviation is just a way of regretting what we once had.

Opposites attract. The right answer may in fact be in between. Balance remains illusory.
