Weekend Reset

I start each weekend with a blank slate. I think about how I would redo things if I could start over. This process helps freshen up my thinking. It reminds of what Karl Lagerfeld said in a recent interview.

“There’s no history. I don’t even have archives, myself. I keep nothing. What I like is to do — not the fact that I did. It doesn’t excite me at all. When people start to think that what they did in the past is perhaps even better than what they do now, they should stop.”

If you can liberate the mind of past and present worries you can liberate the soul. Live and let go. Life doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be good.
