What to do when you lose the path to creativity

What do you do when you’ve lost the path to creativity?

You will get into a creative rut this year, possibly a few times, possibly every day. You might be out of ideas, on vacation, simply exhausted, or too scared to ship.

When you lose your path, you must find the energy and confidence to keep pushing forward.

Just as there are multiple excuses to quit, there are multiple ways to create. You don’t have to produce original art every day. If you can’t make something, find something you can share with the world. Be an aggregator of quality. Curation is also creativity.

Creativity is a mindset strengthened with practice; you’ve got to be consistent to get the most out of it. Creativity is a work habit, albeit a fun one.

When you’ve lost your path keep going, even if you can’t see.
