Chasing time, making memories

How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

My human cognitive architecture says that time is illusory. Why should I bow down to the clock? However, pleasure and expectation straighten out extant myopia.

Milestones, vacation, chasing pennies — time, while commoditized, is helpful in its carrot droppings.

There’s so much to do, new memories to make important. The clock is moving and we’s going to die. If that doesn’t motivate you to keep going, nothing will.
