The reeducation of emotion

At peace with the thinking, not always with the thought. We react first, then we deduce.

Understanding inhibits the worst of our emotions and potential actions. We aim for a holistic response or lack thereof.

Stoic in our appeal, we’ve taken all into account still setting time aside for reflection. Listening closely, the drill is to waft and then review.

Quick on our feet, even faster in perspective. Don’t meet rudeness with rudeness. Collisions of thought require rewriting. Emotional intelligence is a skill that keeps on giving.
