Habit shapes art

The artist’s performance is repetitive and without frills. By the time one hits the stage, they’ve experienced anxiety a few times. Even the forgetful brain can’t drain a habit.

The everyday bicep curl is a sophisticated action that overrides the hesitant, overly cautious conscious brain.

By cycling the mind, we become unthinking. In reality, we’re letting our insides out as we lean on a mental library of successful experiments.

It’s the novice who’s chaotic. Beauty resides in practice. Everything else is performance art.
